Mark Myhre - Crown Counsel, BC Prosecution Service

Myhre colluded with defense counsel Tony Lagemaat prior to, and during the trial, to suppress evidence; to not cross-examine Desiree on many critical points; to allow Desiree to commit perjury, extensively, and not confront her with the proof she was lying or to inform the court or the jury that they had reason to believe she was lying; and most importantly, to not bring up anything which would make the prosecution or the RCMP look bad. But fuck, don't take my word for it, look at my affidavit in support of my claims of ineffective assistance and collusion. That affidavit contains extensive proof that Lagemaat and Myhre knew Desiree was committing perjury - either that or they're both dumb as fucking rocks. Also, look at the transcripts of Capuano's testimony. It is obvious that Lagemaat frequently should have pursued lines of questioning further, but would stop just as Desiree was about to screw herself, and he'd change the line of questioning. Again, he was either colluding with Myhre or he's just the dumbest person to ever become a lawyer.

Prior to the trial, Myhre adamantly refused to disclose to me, a copy of the recording of the 2016-07-13 RCMP interview of Desiree - the one where she's laughing and joking with them. Myhre knew that if that recording got out then every sane person in the world would know that Desiree was lying and faking and that the RCMP and the Crown knew (how could they not?). Little did Myhre know, I had a copy of that recording all along. And that recording is now on this website (imagine that).

The best parts of that RCMP interview are in the last hour (about 50 minutes in). That's where Desiree let her guard down and started showing how seriously she really took all of this.

When Lagemaat finished his cross-examination of Desiree, having not confronted her about that RCMP interview, I raised the issue with the court. I insisted it was critical for the jury to hear what Desiree really thought of all the shit she was pretending to cry about on the witness stand. The court agreed it seemed to have some relevance and questioned Lagemaat on why he thought it didn't. Lagemaat squirmed and stuttered with some bullshit...well, ah, fuck it, just listen to it for yourself for Christ's sake:

Myhre has admitted that he knows Desiree was lying, he'd told me before the trial that if I just took down the website then all this (the criminal harassment charges) could just go away. Yes, Myhre is a dispicable asshole. And, unfortunately, he's an asshole with the power to put people in jail.

One time, after I finished serving my sentence and was trying to get the probation conditions changed, I was speaking with Myhre outside the courthouse. I pointed out that all the proof that Desiree had committed perjury, and that Myhre and Lagemaat knew about it, is clearly detailed in my affidavit in support of my appeal. Myhre had the audacity to claim that he believed Desiree was telling the truth! Can you believe that? What a fuckwad!

In October 2019 I requested Myhre testify at another trial for bullshit charges of probation violations which the BC Prosecution Service brought against me. Specifically, it was Myhre that initiated the charges. Myhre refused to testify. I sought a subpoena for Myhre's testimony. You see, at the sentencing in the criminal harassment case, Myhre had stated on the record, in open court, that if I were to be removed or told to leave Canada by CBSA or IRCC, then he would not prosecute me for violating the condition not to leave BC. So, in March 2019, I turned himself in to CBSA at the Douglas border crossing because CBSA is legally required to not allow me to leave the port of entry by returning to Canada (I am inadmissible, you know, based on being a criminal alien due to the criminal harassment conviction). CBSA told me I was inadmissible and could not return to Canada. I was, effectively, removed by CBSA.

Well, even though I caused exactly the circumstances under which Myhre stated he would not prosecute, what does that slippery bitch do? Get's a warrant for my arrest for leaving BC without permission. DHS sends me back to Canada and I spend 17 months in jail fighting that charge (see 244069-5-BC.

So, I wanted Myhre to testify about him agreeing not prosecute if I were removed by CBSA. Myhre refused. I sought a subpoena from the court. Myhre had some other greasy BC Prosecution Service lawyer appear at the subpoena hearing on his behalf. The BC Prosecution Service lawyer (and Crown Counsel Bernie Wolfe) argued that Myhre's statements were not relevant. The subpoena application was denied (of course - no BC judge is going to make a BC prosecutor take the witness stand).

You see, slimy, sleazy, greasy, despicable. All appropriate adjectives for Mr. Myhre.
