Request for Information/Burnaby RCMP [Steve Riess; Kirsty Brown (RCMP)]
Good evening Mr. Riess,
My name is Kirsty Brown, and I am a police officer with the Burnaby Detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), in British Columbia.
I obtained your email address from a Vancouver Crown Counsel (Mark Myhre), who advised me that back in February he had received some information from you regarding subject Patrick Henry Fox, who I understand to be your biological son. The following is the email response from you to Mr. Myhre from February 7th:
Dear Mark Myhre,
As per our telephone conversation earlier today the person in the picture below is my son Ricky Steve Riess born November 24 / 1973 at the Sudbury General Hospital here in Sudbury Ontario Canada.
If there is anything further I can assist you with don't hesitate to ask.
Steve Riess
Unfortunately. Mr. Myhre misplaced your telephone number, hence my email. I was hoping to be able to speak more in depth with you sometime next week about this same topic, and if you might be available Tuesday or Wednesday (perhaps 10:30 am EST or thereabouts on either of those days)?
Please let me know if you are available to discuss Mr. Fox (previously known as Ricky Riess) on those, (or other dates), and also the best contact number by which to reach you.
Much appreciated,
Kirsty

Mr. Riess,
I received your VM from this morning. Thank you for calling and providing your number.
I have been a bit bogged down today, but would like to call you tomorrow/Wednesday morning to discuss this matter in detail. Let me know what time would work, if any on the 15th?

How about 9:00 AM EST.
That's a bit early, as I don't start until 7:00 AM PST (and we are 3 hours difference)...so 10:00 am EST would be my earliest for the morning. Otherwise we can try for a bit later in the day...perhaps late afternoon for you (3:00- 4:00 PM EST)?
Let me know if either of those works for you? If not, we can try for a time Thursday afternoon or Friday afternoon.
Sorry about the 'time change' run around!

The run around is understandable. Do you have time now?
No, but this time tomorrow would work for me, if it works for you? Perhaps 3:45 PM PST (or 6:45 PM EST).

V1 What is the earliest you can call tomorrow?
Steve
How about I come in a bit early & call you at 9:30 AM EST (so 6:30 AM PST my time)? Does that work?
Essentially I want to touch base with you about the same thing Mark Myhre did, i.e. details about Patrick Fox's identity (birth, relationship to you etc). I would also be looking to coordinate with my partner police agency in Ontario to meet with you sometime after May 27th, in person, to obtain a recorded statement about these same details and view photographs etc.
I appreciate that this keeps coming up for you, but hopefully if we obtain the details in a format that is acceptable for Crown Counsel and court purposes, we can put the matter to rest once and for all!
I will call you in the morning to discuss. Also, if you are able to email your residential address to me that would be great. If you prefer to provide it in the morning, that is totally fine too!
Talk soon,
Kirsty

I will talk to you tomorrow morning. I don't trust emails or the web because someone is always spying on you so I would prefer to give you this information when you call. I do realize that everything I say also goes over the untrustable web but that is just how life is these days. Desiree has his original birth certificate because she said she needed it and would send it back when she was done with and that was a few years ago but she never returned it. I have very few if any pics of him because his mom and I split up he was around 5 years old give or take.
Steve
Steve,
I was just checking in with you to see if Greater Sudbury Police Service has made contact with you yet? I had sent a request for them to arrange an interview, as we discussed before you left on your fishing trip, but have not heard back from them.
I figured I would start with sending you a quick email before I call them!
Let me know if you have heard from them if you have a moment? Otherwise, I will reach out to them directly tomorrow to check the status of my inter-agency request.
Hope things are well. I was able to get a copy of the birth certificate from Desiree as well, so thanks for coordinating that step.

Hi Kristy,
I talked with Detective Constable Skaglioni and we are going to meet in his office on July 02 2019 to carry out your request. Also I was talking with Desiree and she told me that he took the name Patrick Henry Fox from one of the prison guards when he was in jail in the States. I feel sorry for that guy because we both know at some point he is going to steal the real Patrick Fox's life and identity as if it were his own. I will contact you after my interview with detective Skaglioni so you can stay informed as to what is happening.
Steve Riess
