Dear Mr. Eby:
I'm going to assume that you're well aware of who I am and the recent developments in my cases. Therefore, I'll skip all the background.
On 2021-02-02 I had a hearing in the matter of R. v. Patrick Henry Fox, court file 244069-7-B, wherein:
- Crown Counsel Chris Johnson admitted, on the record, in open court, that the reason I am being prosecuted and that I am being kept in jail is because I continue to publish proof of the corruption and misconduct going on in the local justice system (namely in the BCPS and the judges and the LSS appointed lawyers); and
-
The judge (I didn't care enough to note his name) baldly lied about having ordered the transcript of the trial (which was held on 2020-11-26). You see, after the trial the judge stated that he (the court) would order the transcript and a copy would be provided to me. He then instructed the clerk to order the transcript. As of yesterday I had not received it. So I asked the judge the status of it. He now stated that he did not order the transcript, and he firmly denied that he even said that he was going to. I pressed him on the matter. He became agitated and sternly stated that he had not ordered the transcript and he was not going to order it. He further stated if I wanted to order it I could appeal.
But here's the kicker: On 2021-01-28 (5 days before the hearing and the judge's insistence he never ordered the transcript) JC WordAssist confirmed for me, in writing, that in fact, the transcript of the 2020-11-26 trial HAD been ordered by and provided to the court!
So I ask you Mr. Eby, why would one of your judges so adamantly lie, on the record, about an official matter like that?
Obviously, Mr. Eby, my goal of exposing corruption and misconduct in the justice system, with the aim of bringing the system into disrepute and destroying public confidence in the system is not limited to the BCPS and law enforcement – it includes the judges. Speaking of which, I recommend you review the recording of my appearance before Justice Heather Holmes on 2021-01-12, through something tells me you're already aware of it.
And finally, of course I'm going to publish this letter and all the proof of my claims.
Thank you.
Patrick Fox

Crown Counsel and Judge Complaint
Thank you for your letter of February 3, 2021, addressed to the Honourable David Eby, Attorney General and Minister Responsible for Housing, regarding the conduct of Crown Counsel and the judge in your current legal matter. I am responding on behalf of the Attorney General, as the Deputy Attorney General of British Columbia.
In your letter you describe comments and actions made by Crown Counsel, as well as the presiding judge in your case. While I appreciate the time that you have taken to write, the Ministry of Attorney General cannot speak to matters presently before the courts , nor do we have the authority to investigate complaints about judges. Under our system of law, the judicial branch of government is separate and independent from the executive branch of government. The independence of the judiciary from the executive and legislative branches of government is a fundamental principle of our democracy.
Any concerns regarding the conduct – as opposed to a ruling – of a Provincial Court Judge may be submitted to the Chief Judge of the Provincial Court of British Columbia, as their office handles all complaints regarding the conduct of Judicial Officers of the Provincial Court.
Information on the complaint process and an online complaint form can be found on the Provincial Court of British Columbia's website at:
http://www.provincialcourt.bc.ca/complaints-and-appeals/complaint process.
If you are unable to complete the online complaint form , please forward your complaint in writing to the Office of the Chief Judge of the Provincial Court of BC. Contact information is as follows:

Additionally, as you reference a previous Supreme Court Matter, you may wish to direct your concerns regarding the conduct of a Supreme Court judge in writing to the Canadian Judicial Council by e-mail at: info@cjc-ccm.gc.ca or to the following address:

Lastly, in your letter you express concerns regarding a Crown Counsel and the handling of your case. As the matter to which you refer is currently still before the court, it would be inappropriate to comment at this time.
Please be advised that your complaints will be brought to the attention of the Crown Counsel with conduct of the file.
Thank you for writing. I regret that I cannot be of further assistance in this matter.

Dear Mr. Fife:
Thank you for your letter dated 2021-03-25. I appreciate that you took the time to respond to my recent letters (dated 2021-02-03 and 2021-02-28) to Mr. Eby.
However, the purpose of my correspondence to Mr. Eby is NOT to express a complaint, but rather to ensure there is a documented record (proof) of the fact that Mr. Eby and the Office of the Attorney General have been aware of the specific corruption and misconduct which has occurred, and continues to occur, in my numerous cases over the past five years. I have been very clear and candid on this point, in my previous letters.
Nevertheless, I am sure you and Mr. Eby are very busy and, as I said, I appreciate that you took the time to respond.
Patrick Fox
