[Request for extension of time to prepare appeal factum]
Dear Mr. Layton:
Thank you for your letter dated 2023-01-26 and for your assistance in requesting the jail single-bunk me for the time being. Unfortunately, ADW Dunbar's suggestion of using the programs room and/or the law library actually violates NFPC's policies which prohibit inmates from accessing their disclosure material outside of their cell. But I'll take that up with him in the form of an institutional complaint for advising me to violate facility policy.
In light of NFPC's resistence to single-bunking me, I am afraid I will need to request more time to prepare the application for leave. I can't say how long exactly, but perhaps an additional two weeks.
I don't know what I'm supposed to title the document or if it's supposed to contain a title/cover page, table of contents, et cetera, so unless you advise otherwise, I'll just write the content (on the laptop) and ask that you're people kindly add whatever additional pages are supposed to be included.
Thank you.
Patrick Fox
