Peter Edelmann - BC Supreme Court Justice, Ministry of Justice

Justice Peter Edelmann presided over the summary conviction appeal hearing of my conviction of 244069-5-BC.

At that appeal hearing, Edelmann blatantly ignored all of the laws and regulations pertaining to ports of entry, in order to support the trial judge's decision. He also completely ignored the fact that the trial judge ignored the requirement of the prosecutor to prove subjective mens rea before the burden shifts to the accused to establish a reasonable excuse. But then, it's been my experience that is what the entire BC justice system does.
